If you owned a rod company and were looking at coming up with a new rod design, ie: length, line weight, lure weight, location were back bone starts, level of back bone strength, color of blank, fugi eyes used, wrap design, handle length, handle style (fugi exposed blank handle), etc., WHAT would be your perfect design? Now, you must take into consideration that you will be selling them to both the Pro-Tournament fishermen and Weekend Warrior? Also, don't forget about the price, which my dad says is very important because he wants everyone to be able to afford the best rod on the market, because a high quality rod does make a difference. My dad is always thinking about these types of things when we go fishing. He is always thinking about how he can design a rod that will benefit both the Pro-Tournament fishermen and Weekend Warrior. So anyway, What would you design ??????????????? Outlaw_Rod_Fan

The one thing I would change is to add a PowerHump grip. If you had it now, I would own several of them.

I would have the recoil guides as posted above along with a split grip and no foregrip. It would also bo a revolver style. I'm a firm believer that the revolver style guides make big fish control much better.

I would have to agree with the recoil guides, the split grip, and the lack of a foregrip, but I also think a great crank rod would have to be part glass/ graphite, because I hate the feel of nothing when cranking. I have to know when I hit something, otherwise I just keep it coming.

I love your rods, I just pickup 2 rods at the Chicago Fishing Show !!! One thing I would change is take the foregrip off, so you could put a finger on the blank when you palm your reel.
